| Electromagnetic field |
|
An electromagnetic field surrounds an electrically charged conductor. An electromagnetic field represents the short range for RFID applications. The far range with deviating physical properties starts where the electromagnetic field of the conductor dissipates and spreads into space as electromagnetic waves.
